The Brazilian institution dedicated to climate policy
receive our content
Somos uma organização civil independente com atuação em todo o Brasil, sede no Rio de Janeiro, e colaboradores em Belém, Brasília, Curitiba, Florianópolis e São Paulo.
Talanoa is the tradition of Pacific island communities talking about difficult issues and finding solutions to common problems together. "Resolution" would be a loose translation of the term.
In the field of climate change policy, 197 countries have adopted the "spirit of Talanoa" as a way of negotiating with each other for the good of the planet.
Talanoa also sounds the bell of urgency, reminding us that in the face of the climate emergency, we have no time to lose.
The Talanoa Institute emerged in Brazil with a focus on improving decision-making and accelerating climate action through a combination of data, science and dialog.
Contribute to responding to the climate emergency and its socio-environmental impacts, with ideas and technologies of our time.
Brazil at the forefront of the just transition to zero carbon this decade.
